Karin Amos, Vice-President for Academic Affairs The University of Tübingen Senate has confirmed Professor Karin Amos as Vice-President for Academic Affairs for a further term term of office. At the Senate meeting on Thursday she was re-elected unopposed. Amos will thus serve as part-time Vice-President for three more years starting October 1, 2023. Karin Amos, Professor of General Education at the University of Tübingen, has been Vice-President of Academic Affairs since 2013. The educationalist studied to be a teacher of English and History. After working in Oakland, California; Vienna; and Frankfurt am Main, she has been teaching and conducting research at the University of Tübingen since 2006. During her tenure as Vice-President, she has been involved in a wide range of issues, including the conversion of teacher training programs to the Bachelor's/ Master's system, the establishment of the Tübingen School of Education and the gradual expansion of online teaching services.
