Three Awards for Prof. Raúl Rojas

Computer Scientist at Freie Universität Berlin Recognized in Mexico. ' 200/2017 from Jul 13, 2017 Dr. h. c. Raúl Rojas, a professor of artificial intelligence at Freie Universität Berlin, has recently received three awards in Mexico: For his lifetime achievements as a Mexican scientist in the academic diaspora, he received the "Innovation Prize for Mexican Researchers Abroad." The University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) established a so-called cátedra patrimonial on his behalf to strengthen international cooperation. This is a fund at Raúl Rojas's disposal to invite international researchers to Ciudad Juarez. And third, at the Research Center for Applied Science and Advanced Technology (CICATA) in Querétaro, the robotics laboratory will in the future be called "Laboratorio Raúl Rojas." Raúl Rojas González was born in 1955 in Mexico City. He majored in mathematics and physics in Mexico and economics and social sciences at Freie Universität Berlin. In 1993 he completed the habilitation process in computer science at Freie Universität.
