New "World Nuclear Industry Status Report"

Presentation of this year's report and background discussion at the Berlin Öko-Institut on September 26. No 246/2018 from Sep 24, 2018 On September 26, together with the Environmental Policy Research Centre of Freie Universität (FFU) and EUROSOLAR ( Europäische Vereinigung für Erneuerbare Energien e. V. , the nonprofit European Association for Renewable Energy), the Berlin Öko-Institut will present this year's World Nuclear Industry Status Report . According to the organizers, it shows that nuclear energy production is becoming increasingly important worldwide - in favor of renewable energies. In the background discussion, the author Mycle Schneider and three involved experts, including Dr. Achim Brunnengräber from FFU, will explain the causes and prognoses for this development.
