Do gender differences come to light when we examine how the pandemic was handled, particularly with regard to its practical and psychological ramifications? When we look at issues of political leadership during the pandemic, do we encounter gender-related factors in public crisis management in Germany and beyond? In evaluating the role of the media and communication during the pandemic, are we able to detect gender bias? Is it possible to identify gender-based differences in the care professions - for example, with regard to working conditions and appreciation of this type of work - when we examine developments before and during the pandemic? What consequences will the pandemic have on the distribution of roles and responsibilities at work and within the family? These and other questions will be the topic of debate at the panel discussion.
