Enemies and Adversaries in 21st Century Politics

Public Lecture and Panel Discussion with Canadian Writer, Politician, and Historian Professor Michael Ignatieff on November 19 at Freie Universität Berlin. No 325/2018 from Nov 16, 2018 On November 19 the Canadian author, politician, and historian Professor Michael Ignatieff will give a lecture at Freie Universität on the change in behavior of political actors. According to Ignatieff, countries, political parties, and other institutions no longer act as counterparties in political issues, but increasingly as enemies. The presentation is part of a lecture series of the Alfred Herrhausen Society and the master's degree program in International Relations. The lecture will be given in English, and admission is free.
