Text and Film in Interaction in Japanese Cinema

Public Japanese Studies Conference at Freie Universität on February 25/26, 2016 - The interactions between text and film in Japan are the subject of a conference to be held at Freie Universität on February 25 and 26, 2016. The participating scholars will address the interface between film and literature from an interdisciplinary perspective. The conference organizers consider the meeting as a prelude and impulse generator for a new branch of research within Japanese studies and as a platform for discussing the intermedial and transcultural aspects. The conference language is English. Entitled "Text and Film in Interaction," the conference is public and free. Advance registration is requested by email. The conference participants will address the topic "Text and Film in Interaction" from different aspects.
