The exhibition presents a selection of books from the holdings of the libraries of Freie Universität pertaining to Böll's biography, editions of his work, and hand-drawn sketches. There is a 1974 issue of SPIEGEL magazine, in which Böll's story "The Lost Honor of Katharina Blum" appeared serially as a preprint. The exhibition may be viewed during the opening hours of the library. Heinrich Böll would have turned 100 on December 21, 2017. His novels, stories, and essays have been widely printed, reprinted, and translated.
