The range of subjects they cover is a wide one: How did our universe come into being? How can companies find the most suitable staff? How can we improve the capacity of storage media? In addition to research topics, we will also be looking at what motivates researchers personally. What led them to their particular subject? What do they find fascinating about it? And what are the still unanswered questions in their subject? In this portrait, Asmaa El Maaroufi introduces herself. She is a junior professor at the Centre for Islamic Theology at the Münster University with a focus on Islamic ethics. Her research focuses in particular on animal and environmental ethics.
