"Econnect Germany" Named Flagship Project

Germany's Federal Government supports interdisciplinary research in the field of Information and Technology in Electric Mobility. The "econnect Germany" project has been named a collaborative "beacon project" and now receives funding from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi). This descision highlights the outstanding quality of interdisciplinary research undertaken at the RWTH Department of Computer Science. Under the coordination of the Chair of Information Systems and Database Technology, headed by Professor Matthias Jarke, six RWTH institutes participate in the project.
