Motto ’Science for social cohesion’ / Meeting point Schlossplatz

’In times of active social division, commitment to social solidarity is more important than ever: between young and old, between rich and poor or between the global North and South. Social cohesion is based on mutual trust and solidarity. Only on this basis can we overcome the diverse challenges of the future together,’ emphasises Michael Quante, Vice-Rector for Internationalization, Knowledge Transfer and Sustainability at the University of Münster. Strong social cohesion promotes the well-being of all’and creates a respectful coexistence. The university wants to strengthen this cohesion through research and teaching.
