The Future of Global Trade
Third Event of Joint Speaker Series at Freie Universität Berlin and Indiana University on January 26, 2017, in Berlin-Kreuzberg. ' 006/2017 from Jan 11, 2017 On January 26, 2017, legal scholars from Freie Universität Berlin and Indiana University in the US will discuss the future of global trade. The discussion will take place as part of a joint speaker series being organized by Freie Universität and Indiana University during the 2016/2017 academic year. Five events are being held in Indiana and in Berlin, where scholars from both universities will address issues of international politics in English. The events are public, and admission is free. Legal scholar Dr. Steffen Hindelang, a professor of law at Freie Universität Berlin, and David P. Fidler, a professor at Indiana University Bloomington, will discuss the future of global trade and whether in light of current developments it is likely that more free trade agreements will be reached or rather a return to increased protectionism can be expected.
