Three professors of the Hannover Medical School are among the world's most cited researchers Three scientists from Hannover Medical School are among the most frequently cited researchers in the world: Professor Dr. Michael Manns, Professor Dr. Thomas Werfel and Thomas Thum. This was the result of an analysis of scientific publications by the company Clarivate Analytics. The "Highly Cited Researchers" list, which is compiled annually, shows which publications in each discipline are among the one percent that have been cited the most.
