Inaugural Conference of the Maria Sibylla Merian International Centre for Advanced Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences on July 13 and 14. ' 193/2017 from Jul 11, 2017 The Maria Sibylla Merian International Centre for Advanced Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences Conviviality in Unequal Societies: Perspectives from Latin America will take up its work with a conference on "Conviviality in Unequal Societies." The research center is a collaborative project among institutions in Germany and Latin America. The aim of the inaugural conference is to present and discuss the Centre's research perspective on conviviality in unequal societies in Latin America and the Caribbean with consortium partners, scholars, representatives of research institutions and the academic public in Germany. In addition to the key concepts, both theoretical and methodological approaches will be discusses. The conference language will be English.
