Famous Kokoschka painting returns to the University
Thermopylae oder der Kampf um die Errettung des Abendlandes by Oskar Kokoschka goes back on display in Lecture Hall D of the Philosophenturm at the University of Hamburg. Art is back at the University of Hamburg's Philosophenturm: A large, three-part painting by the important Austrian artist Oskar Kokoschka has returned to Lecture Hall D on Von-Melle-Park campus.
February 9 to March 27: ’With Ukraine in our hearts’ - exhibition at the University Library in Ilmenau
"With Ukraine in my heart" - this is the title of the exhibition in the University Library Ilmenau, which shows paintings by the Ukrainian painter Yuliya Ruban. Landscapes, birds and flowers, created using various techniques and materials. The exhibition can be seen from February 9 to March 27 in the TU Ilmenau during normal opening hours, admission is free.
