University of Münster welcomes international students

International Office provides information on studying and living in Münster during "Welcome Week"

For the summer semester 2026, the University of Münster has welcomed 113 new international students. Around the Schloss, the International Office provided students from numerous partner universities with information primarily about the University and life in the city.

In the coming days, a range of activities - including a city tour, a welcome party, a creative event and a hike - will offer opportunities to get to know the University and the place of study more closely. A total of 112 students from higher semesters have signed up for the "buddy programme" and will support the new international students with advice and practical help during their first weeks.
