Gender Politics in Turbulent Times

International Conference at Freie Universität on July 21 and 22, 2017 No 203/2017 from Jul 19, 2017 An international conference entitled "Gender Politics in Turbulent Times" will be held on Friday, July 21, and Saturday, July 22, at Freie Universität Berlin. Researchers from Germany and abroad will discuss gender policy issues and strategies in light of new challenges such as right-wing populism and the crisis of political institutions such as the European Union and austerity policy. The keynote lecture will be given by Sara Farris from Goldsmiths, University of London. The conference is open to the public, and admission is free. The conference language is English.
