Virtural Lecture Series Hosted by the Cluster of Excellence "Contestations of the Liberal Script (SCRIPTS)" in Cooperation with the Institute of East Asian Studies (IN-EAST) at the University of Duisburg-Essen / First lecture on April 6, 2022. In collaboration with the Institute of East Asian Studies (IN-EAST) at the University of Duisburg-Essen, the Cluster of Excellence "Contestations of the Liberal Script (SCRIPTS)" is hosting a virtual lecture series on China in the current summer term (April - July 2022). Leading scholars will discuss varying topics related to China's global rise and the Liberal International Order with principal investigators from both SCRIPTS and IN-EAST. It will be possible for viewers to submit questions to the moderator via the chat room in the Zoom webinar. The opening lecture of the series will be given by Steve Chan from the University of Colorado Boulder on "Contesting Revisionism: China, the United States, and the Transformation of International Order."
