The group of Prof. Dr. Konrad Koszinowski at the Institute of Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen welcomes applications for the position of a

Postdoctoral position (all genders welcome)

(100 %, E13 TV-L, limited contract of 12 months, earliest starting date 15.04.26) in mechanistic organometallic chemistry.

In this project, the postdoctoral associate will investigate the reactivity of 3d-metal complexes in oxidative additions and transmetalation processes. To this end, they will prepare the complexes of interest and analyze their reactivity with a combination of different methods, including state-of-the-art multi-stage mass-spectrometry and gas-phase chemistry. The obtained results shall improve our mechanistic understanding of 3d-metal mediated cross-coupling reactions.
