HAWK University of Applied Science and Art

The HAWK is a state university in Niedersachsen with more than 6,000 students. The university is regionally anchored and, in addition, excellently networked both nationally and internationally. A basis for this is certainly their roots, which go back to the 19th century at the Holzminden site, for example. Since its official foundation as a university of applied sciences (now a university) in 1971, the HAWK has always kept up with the times. A good example is the university’s 41 degree programs. Their contents, practical references and teaching forms reflect what is expected in the occupational fields today and in the future. In addition to the classic full-time courses with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, part-time, part-time and dual courses as well as further training courses have become established. Lifelong learning is therefore not just a goal, but remains a practice.
