Two students from Freie Universität Berlin are at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Caterina Granz from LG Nord Berlin will start in the 1500-meter run. In 2019 she was the German champion in the 1500-meter run, and in 2020 she placed third in the German championships. In 2019, she also won the gold medal over the 1500-meter distance at the 30th Summer Universiade in Naples.
