The Technical University of Munich (TUM) distances itself unequivocally from xenophobic attitudes, unconstitutional gestures and comments such as those shown in the video currently circulating from Sylt.
TUM stands for diversity, mutual respect, and the inclusion of all people and actively promotes equality regardless of gender, nationality, religion, ideology, physical condition, age, and sexual identity. Inappropriate behavior that runs counter to this has no place at TUM.
We are currently investigating reports of student participation and will take appropriate action if necessary.
