The 2024 UK General Election: Results, Politics and Public Opinion

Panel Discussion with four panellists from academia, journalism, and civil society.

The United Kingdom has voted to elect a new Parliament on 4 July. The results have painted a transformed political landscape that will shape British politics and society for the years to come. As the fallout of the election is still going on, this event will bring together different speakers from academia, journalism and civil society to discuss the 2024 UK General Election. The panellists will analyse the election results, talk about the state of public opinion and reflect about the political implications for the UK as well as for Germany.

The event is organised and hosted by the Centre for British Studies.
It takes place on 15 July, 5 - 6.30 pm.
