The contract was signed, and the Students in Munich will keep the ‘Semesterticket’.


The solidarity contribution will be 66.50 - (compulsory for all students, allowing to use the public transport service between 6 pm to 6 am, as well as on weekends and public holidays) and the voluntary IsarCard semester for 193 - (which can only be purchased after paying the solidarity contribution, and which allows to use the entire MVV transport network without limitations). The prices are valid for the summer semester 2017 and the winter semester 2017/18. After that, the price will be linked to the ‘Ausbildungstarif II’. More information: Semesterticket München

‘Einblicke in Einwanderung’: Syria and Iraq


On , Dr. Christoph Beier will be holding a lecture on the topic ‘Wiederaufbau und Masterplan für kriegszerstörte Krisenregionen’ (Reconstruction and Masterplan for War-Shaken Crisis Regions), focusing on the examples of Syria and Iraq. The lecturer is a TUM alumnus and Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the German Association for International Cooperation (GIZ). Climate-KIC Summer School 2017: Apply now!


Climate change: How to reduce it or adapt to it? At the Climate-KIC Summer School, the participants at different European universities will develop ideas and business concepts. Module ‘AStA Project Work’


How to get a project up and running? How can I motivate my co-workers’ What role do communication and leadership play within a team? The answers to these questions can’t be found in textbooks, only in practice: join a team to make plans for an AStA seminar weekend, to lead an AStA workgroup, or to organize an AStA event, for example the ‘Lange Nacht der Universität’. UnternehmerTUM: SPRING SCHOOL


A new application phase has started: the Spring School 2017 will take place from. Application deadline is February 26th. This is a unique opportunity for students to gather entrepreneurial skills in combination with developing and fleshing out new business opportunities. The (English-language) two-week intensive seminar for Master’s students at TUM is offered in cooperation with an industrial company.
