Rainer Streubel - from the Institute for Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Bonn receives his honorary doctorate at the University of Murcia from Rector José Luján.
Professor of Inorganic Chemistry recognized by University of Murcia Spain’s University of Murcia has presented an honorary doctorate to Rainer Streubel from the Institute for Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Bonn.
The researcher has been working with the University of Murcia’s Faculty of Chemistry for many years, and this award is intended to continue supporting this collaboration in the future, according to its Rector José Luján.

Prof. Streubel is regarded as one of the world’s leading authorities on the chemistry of phosphorous and has made key contributions to advancing our understanding of the synthetic equivalents of monosubstituted phosphorus atomic units. His research is paving the way for developing new fire-retardant materials, among other things. Streubel expressed his thanks to the University of Murcia for "the great honor" of being awarded an honorary doctorate by a university that is one of the most steeped in history in all of Spain.
