The reform of the teacher training system began in the winter semester 2015/16. The study programs with state examinations were replaced by the teaching-oriented bachelor’s and later master’s degree programs. In an online expert discussion held on December 3, 2020, a panel of experts gave a provisional assessment together with Baden-Württemberg’s Minister for Science, Research and the Arts Theresia Bauer.
