Taking into account current developments in the coronavirus pandemic, the Rectorate of the University of Münster has decided that from 27 October 2020 “restricted operations? should come into effect. What this means primarily is that in the winter semester 2020/21 all teaching is to be done digitally. Practical elements such as laboratory work or one-to-one teaching can be carried out in person as far as the legal situation allows and hygiene regulations are complied with. Other important details:

Advisory services such as the Career Service, the Student Admissions Office, libraries, institutes and Deans’ Offices will remain open. The University recommends people to look at the relevant websites for information regarding any options for in-person attendance.

There are no plans to close the buildings.

The University requests everyone to comply with the hygiene and safety regulations at all times.
