Democracy and the rule of law are the cornerstones of academic freedom in Germany. JMU therefore supports the recent statement by the Executive Board of the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK).
Over 30,000 people from more than 100 countries study, research, teach and work at the University of Würzburg. Successful science is based on peaceful and unprejudiced cooperation within a university open to the world, where xenophobia has no place. JMU therefore welcomes and supports the statement by the Executive Board of the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK) of January 23, 2024.
