’Hoch die Hände, Klimawende’ : Presentation and Subsequent Discussion on Climate Action

RWTHextern and RWTH AStA Students’ Committee will host a presentation by Gabriel Baunach on climate action, followed by a discussion, on July 2, 2024.

Baunach, a climate communicator, founded the "Climaware" platform in 2020 and published the book "Hoch die Hände, Klimawende: Warum wir mit der Holzzahnbürste nicht die Erderwärmung stoppen - und wo unsere wirklichen Hebel sind" ("Why a Wooden Toothbrush Won’t Stop Global Warming - and How We Can Truly Make an Impact") in 2023.

In his presentation, Gabriel Baunach reveals the most effective ways we can truly make a difference, feel better, and help mitigate the climate crisis. The key is to focus on our individual "handprints" - actions that reduce climate change. Whether in our leisure time, at work, through volunteer efforts, or political choices, there are plenty of opportunities to make a significant impact.

The event takes place on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 6:30pm in the AStA Theater Hall, Pontwall 3, in Aachen. Tickets are available for 3 euros at the AStA Ticket Shop or at the door. Please note that the presentation will be in German.
