DAAD provides annual scholarship funding to eight students from the Global South for the master’s programme in Environmental Governance

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will fund the M.Sc. Environmental Governance programme with a total of 1.6 million euros from 2025 to 2032. This is the third, eight-year funding period for the course in the DAAD programme "Development-Related Postgraduate Courses" (EPOS).

Geographical and cultural diversity

The funding will go toward scholarships for students from the Global South in particular. The scholarships will enable eight students each year to take the master’s programme in Environmental Governance at the University of Freiburg. ...
