In November there will be no concerts of the "Musikhochschule" in front of an audience and the museums of the University of Münster are also closed.
All cultural, sporting and leisure events due to take place in November at Münster University are being cancelled. This is to implement the stipulations which the Federal Government in Berlin and the State Government of North Rhine-Westphalia have issued with the aim of reducing social contacts and containing infections from the coronavirus.
All concerts planned for November by the Faculty of Music are cancelled. Some of the events will, however, be recorded, without any audience, and transmitted at a later date on the Faculty’s YouTube channel. Choirs and musical groups are also affected by the measures, as are theatre performances, which will not be taking place in November either.
With effect from Friday, 29 October 2020, 18.00 hours, sports activities offered by University Sport will be completely suspended. Sports venues will remain closed from this time onwards. This also applies to Campus Gym. At Hochschulsport@Home, University Sport provides alternative offers for sport which can be done at home. This is due be extended further.
The Archaeological Museum is open up to and including November 1. The Bible Museum will be closing one day earlier because of the public holiday. The Botanical Garden is currently due to remain open. Visitors to the garden are requested to wear facemasks covering the mouth and nose.
