CHE Rated Law at Top in Seven Categories

In the most recent ranking by the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE), Freie Universität Berlin performed particularly well in law. In the survey results published on Tuesday, the Department of Law at Freie Universität was ranked at the top in seven categories. They are: support during the initial phase of studies, third-party funding per academic staff, support for study abroad, facilities and equipment both in the classrooms and the library, and the IT infrastructure.
In the CHE Ranking one third of the subjects are re-evaluated each year. The subjects evaluated this year are law, business administration, economics, business informatics, business engineering, business law, social work, and for the first time, business psychology. Economics and business administration at Freie Universität Berlin were only ranked in a few indicators based on publicly available data. The university was noted for top achievements in awarding degrees in business administration within a reasonable time.
According to CHE, approximately 40 subjects at more than 300 universities and universities of applied science were evaluated. In addition to facts related to the classes taught, teaching methods, facilities, and research, the rankings also include the results of surveys of some 120,000 students and 3,000 professors.
For the following subjects, Freie Universität is included in the top groups of the indicators:
