The largest conference for Asian and African studies in the German-speaking world will be taking place at Freie Universität from September 12-17, 2022. It is expected that 1,200 academics from 66 countries around the world will attend the 34th Deutscher Orientalistentag (DOT). The program encompasses 1,200 presentations and discussions from 23 different branches of research from the fields of Asian and African studies. The conference begins on September 12, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in the Max Kade Auditorium, Henry Ford Building.
