The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg invites applications for a full professorship (W2) in
Partial Differential Equations
with anticipated starting date of April 1, 2021.

Candidates should work in an active field of partial differential equations which is relevant in applications, such as thermodynamics, aeroand hydrodynamics, diffusion processes, fluid transport in porous media, kinetics of chemical reactions and combustion, continuum mechanics, seismology, inverse problems, optimal control, deep learning and variational methods in image processing.
