The Mathematical Institute - Department of Pure Mathematics - offers a

Candidates should hold a PhD and work in Differential Geometry or at its intersection with Mathematical Physics. We are looking for an expert in one or more of the following areas: differential topology, special holonomy, global analysis, conformal or topological quantum field theory. The postdoctoral researcher’s primary tasks will be to contribute to the research Groups for Differential Geometry and Mathematical Physics in the Mathematics Institute of Freiburg University, along with a teaching duty of 4 hours/week. An association to the DFG research training group GK 1821 ,,Cohomological Methods in Geometry" is possible.
