Finals of the Werner Siemens Foundation "project of the century" competition
An agricultural research team at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) has made it to the finals in the "project of the century" ("Jahrhundertprojekt") competition for 100 million Swiss Francs, hosted by the Werner Siemens Foundation (WSS). A research team led by Prof. Senthold Asseng hopes to win out over five other current competitor groups with its project "Revolution in Food Production".
