Opening times during the holiday break

From Saturday, 24 December 2022 to Sunday 1 January 2023, many University facilities will have a limited range of services or will be taking their winter break. During the holidays themselves, many shops in Göttingen will also be closed. You can find an overview of the changed opening hours and your options in this list.

Refectories and cafeterias
The Central Mensa, Café Central and Lunchbox will be closed from 24 December 2022 to 1 January 2023 inclusive. The Mensa and Café am Turm will be open from 2 7 to 30 December 2022; both will take a break from 2 to 8 January 2023. All other cafeterias will be on winter break from 24 December 2022 to 8 January 2023. ...
