Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (HU) is ranked 84th in the latest World University Rankings published by Times Higher Education Magazine (THE), a group that also includes Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the University of Massachusetts.The Technical University of Munich is the best German university in 26th place, with Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (38), the Technical University of Heidelberg (=57), Humboldt-Universität (=84), the University of Bonn (89), RWRH Aachen (92), Charité (=93) and the University of Tübingen (=100) making up a total of eight German universities in the top 100. At the top are Oxford University, Massachussetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University and Princeton University. The latter has been a profile partner of Humboldt-Universität since 2013.
