South Africa’s economic power is shrinking, companies are going bankrupt and the population is suffering. The reason for this is massive and widespread power cuts, which have been becoming more frequent for years now. In the ranking of Africa’s economically strongest countries, South Africa is only in third place, behind Nigeria and Ethiopia. International credit rating agencies now classify South Africa as a risky location.
