One-Off Payment

Students can apply for a one-time energy price payment of € 200. Here you can find out everything about the application process for TUM students.

Background and requirements

The energy price payment is based of the law on the payment of an energy price allowance (Gesetz zur Zahlung einer Energiepreispauschale) .

All students who were enrolled at a German university as of December 01, 2022, and who have their domicile or habitual residence in Germany are entitled to the payment.

To receive the energy price payment, you must submit an application via the central website https://www.einmalzahlung200.de­/eppsg-en.

As a student, you will need an access code for this, which you will receive from your university. As a TUM student, you will find your personal access code in TUMonline.

How do I apply for the energy price payment?

You can request the payment at www.einmalzahlung200.de with your access code. There you will also find all further information about the one-off energy price payment for students.

You will need a BundID to apply for the energy price payment and either

  • a with eID (all German IDs issued after July 2017)
  • or a personal ELSTER certificate.


If you do not have a BundID, you can create it via www.einmalzahlung200.de

If you have neither an ID card with eID nor a personal ELSTER certificate, you can also use a PIN together with your BundID to apply for the payment. Your PIN is also displayed in the TUMonline application One-Off Payment 200. www.einmalzahlung200.de.

How to find your Access Code and your PIN

In TUMonline, under "Admission", you will find the application "One-Off Payment 200". It will be shown here only if you are eligible for the energy price payment.

Your personal access code and your PIN are displayed here.

If you have an ID card with online ID function or a personal ELSTER certificate, you can apply for the one-time payment with this access code and your BundID at www.einmalzahlung200.de.

If you do not have an ID card with online ID function or a personal ELSTER certificate, you can alternatively apply for the one-time payment using your BundID and PIN.
