A conference on "Emotion in Motion" will address the significance of emotions for societal transformation processes from a historical perspective. The conference will take place at the Department of History and Cultural Studies, Freie Universität Berlin, on May 24 and 25, 2018. The focus of the English-language conference will be on separations and long distances affected families during the early modern period.
