The Dies Academicus is the university’s traditional anniversary celebration. The keynote address will be given by star architect Francis Kéré , who has recently been appointed to TUM.

Europa macht Schule (Europe meets School): guest students as ambassadors
An invitation to all European guest students at TUM: The project "Europa macht Schule" offers you the opportunity to introduce children and young people at German schools to your home country in a very personal way - and at the same time to get to know Germany even better and to improve your language and presentation skills. The project work is a great opportunity to provide school pupils with information about your home country and to introduce them to Europe’s cultural diversity, first hand and in a special way. If you are successfully conducting research at TUM and would like to market your results or even start a business, the TUM IdeAward - with a prize money of up to 15,000 Euros and specific coaching offers - might be your chance. The competition, which was initiated by TUM, the Zeidler-Forschungs-Stiftung and UnternehmerTUM, is intended to encourage scientists to turn their ideas into innovative and competitive spin-offs. What is needed are excellent inventions and technologies with potential for commercial application. You can submit your dissertations, Master’s or Bachelor’s theses, or other project work. The TUM Campus App is an app that was developed by students for students. It brings lectures, cafeteria menus, and other important information directly to your smart phone.
