Join the run! The 5th TUM Campus Run will take place in Garching on June 28, 2017. This year, there will be up 1,000 participants.

All students, doctoral candidates, researchers, employees, and alumni are invited to join in. Date: ; starting times are 6:00 pm for 11 kilometers and 6:15 pm for 5.5 kilometers. If you register until May 15, the entry fee is 8 - - then 15 - until June 10, and 20 - until June 20. More information:

ClimateLaunchpad Competition OpenCall

The world’s largest green business idea competition: EntrepreneurTUM wants to be partnering with Climate-KIC to organize ClimateLaunchpad in Germany. Aim is the world’s best sustainability ideas that address climate change. This can be anything from innovation in renewable energy, a sustainable transition in the food chain, a mind shift in urban mobility or any other way to tackle climate change. The top three teams in Germany will move to the Grand Final in Cyprus where they will compete for up to - 10,000 and direct entry to the Climate KIC Accelerator programs. MakerSpace: a maker’s paradise in Garching

Open for ambitious start-ups, do-it-yourself enthusiasts, and other creative people: MakerSpace is a publicly accessible, 1,500 square meter high-tech workshop that provides machines, tools, and software - as well as a creative community. Here, you are able to make your ideas and innovations come alive as prototypes or small series. There are different working areas for machinery, metal and woodworking, textiles, or electronics, as well as a 3D printer, a laser cutter, and a water jet cutter - and there are trainings, consulting offers, and events for all levels of knowledge.
