Your TasksIn your functions, you will have to :
Five hours a week of teaching throughout the year (a detailed description is available in the job description in pdf format) Supervision of Master’s dissertations and PhD theses.
The post-holder will pursue his/her own research in comparative public administration, with an emphasis on the institutional and macro-comparative analysis of political-administrative systems in Western and especially European countries, with a particular focus on Switzerland. It is expected that the person appointed will be affiliated to the Laboratory for Analysis of Governance and Public Policy in Europe (LAGAPE) of the Institute of Political Studies and will collaborate with its members on joint projects. Joint ventures with IDHEAP are also encouraged. S/he will be expected to produce high-quality academic publications. S/he will seek external funding, in particular from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
