This month, thirty PhD students in the field of Energy Engineering will meet in Aachen. The Young Researchers Transatlantic Academy (YRTA) is scheduled to take place between June 3-7, 2012.
RWTH Aachen University, Forschungszentrum Jülich and the University of Pennsylvania have jointly organized the interdisciplinary program of the Young Academy.
The major goal of the Academy is to promote intercultural exchange and to initiate research collaborations through workshops and joint activities. Candidates will also have the opportunity to develop their transferrable skills in the context of international research activities.
The participating doctoral candidates were selected in a competitive process. The event is supported by the Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology.
