Roughly 1,500 members of the greater Hamburg public and its surrounding regions currently take part in the University’s Open Study Program every semester. Many have been attending for years. Now celebrating it’s 30th anniversary year, the educational program for people of all ages is once again offering courses at Universität Hamburg-more the 400 lectures and seminars from the faculties.

Furthermore, the Center for Continuing Education (ZfW) has put together an extensive additional program for Open Study Program students with courses in history, political science, psychology, literary studies, the geosciences, art and art history.
