The paired concepts underlying the recent edition of the research magazine RUPERTO CAROLA stand for research areas that academics at Heidelberg University have helped to shape with elementary findings - for example, when discovering the key gene at the root of Alzheimer’s disease and likewise with pivotal research into the molecular and neuronal mechanisms of specific memory performance.
