For the third year running, educators from all disciplines can be nominated for the Arqus Teaching Excellence Award for excellent and innovative teaching formats in the 2022/23 academic year. The deadline for submissions is 1 April.

The Arqus Teaching Excellence Award recognizes educators who exemplify innovation and excellence in their pedagogical practices, fostering a culture of learning that transcends disciplinary boundaries and empowers students from diverse backgrounds to thrive in inclusive, community based and dynamic learning environments.

The Arqus Teaching Excellence Award recognises teaching initiatives and projects at Arqus universities that promote a culture of interdisciplinary learning in their pedagogical practice and empower students from diverse backgrounds to thrive in inclusive, community-based and dynamic learning environments. The award comes with a cash prize of ¤5,000 to be used for teaching or professional development.

The Award will be presented during the Arqus Annual Conference that will take place at the University of Minho in Braga from 4th to 6th July 2024. The award winners will be invited to participate in the conference to give a guest lecture or workshop for teachers of the Arqus Alliance. Best of luck!
