Wenn eine Frühgeburt droht, erhalten Schwangere oft synthetische Stresshormone, um die Lungenreifung des Ungeborenen zu beschleunigen. Forschende sind nun zum Ergebnis gekommen, dass diese Glukokortikoide auch die Hormonproduktion des Kindes verändern.
